Alone but not lonely,
I tell myself on the daily.
Alone but not lonely,
But the latter is what I feel lately.
Alone but not lonely,
As I sit here in an empty house.
Alone but not lonely,
Everything as quiet as a mouse.
Alone but not lonely,
Dinner for one yet again.
Alone but not lonely,
Everyday is filled with rain.
Alone but not lonely,
Is this even true anymore.
Alone as well as lonely,
I admit as I fall to the floor.
