One More Night

Please just give me one more night before you go away,

I know it will hurt and once you’re here I will want you to stay.

But I have missed you way too much since you have left me,

And one more night will help me before you go to flee.

Every time I think of you my eyes fill up to cry,

Because deep down I know I will never say good bye.

Hope will cling onto me that you will soon come back,

Because you are the only thing my life has come to lack.

And the more time we spend apart, the more I miss you still,

And the thought I won’t see you again just makes me chill.

So, one more night is all I need- this I always knew,

But one more night is what I want to say that I love you.
